Sheep manure contains high nutrients, including organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The content of organic matter and nitrogen is higher than pig manure and cow manure. First, fermentation is the most important factor in making organic fertilizer from sheep manure. Fermentation determines the quality of organic matter. Organic fertilizer fermentation treatment mainly pay attention to the following points.
(1) Adjusting the C/N ratio of sheep manure compost. The optimum C/N ratio for microbial fermentation is generally 25:1-35:1. The C/N ratio of sheep manure varies with the degree of forage intake, generally from 25:1 to 30:1, and can be fermented directly. We usually add crop straw to ferment sheep manure, which can reduce the water content of sheep manure, increase the carbon-nitrogen ratio appropriately and accelerate the fermentation speed of organic fertilizer. In addition, bacteria can be added to compost materials to accelerate the deing process.
(2) Adjust the moisture content of sheep manure compost. The water content of compost fermentation is generally about 60%. We can judge roughly by grasping the materials in groups without water droplets and loosening hands. The mixture of sheep dung and straw with good moisture adjustment will be accumulated. The composting method can choose flat fermentation or fermentation tank fermentation. In the fermentation process, compost turning machine is used to regulate the material and increase the oxygen in the fermentation process. Windrow compost turning machine is selected for flat fermentation, and trough compost turning machine is used for trough fermentation.
(3) Adjusting the composting temperature of sheep manure. Fermentation temperature should be controlled in the range of 55 - 65℃, but the highest temperature should not be higher than 75℃. When the temperature is too high, the compost dumper must be used to turn the compost immediately or add ventilation ducts to adjust. In addition, bacteria can be added to accelerate the maturation process.
